I grew up in a high-crime, low-income environment where gangs, drugs, and violence were a daily reality. It would have been easy to stay there—it was what I knew, and it was where my family was. But I wanted more for my life and for my family. Through years of working full-time, raising a young family, and pursuing my education, I fought to break the cycle and build a better future.

My life has taught me one absolute truth: Results, not excuses.

I know firsthand the profound impact sports can have on a young person's life. When you combine a dedicated coach, hard work, and a positive environment, sports can change a child's entire trajectory. It teaches you how to push past your circumstances.

I believe we only have one lifetime to make a difference, and I want to pack as much impact into mine as possible. Hegemony Sports is about leaving a legacy. I am here to ensure we leave a positive mark on this world, giving our youth the tools, the discipline, and the belief that they can achieve anything they are willing to work for.

I know what it feels like to be placed in a box. Growing up in an environment where abuse and negative influences were the norm, the path forward always seemed incredibly narrow. But I refused to become a product of my environment and wanted something better for my life. Right out of high school, I moved across the country to carve out a new path. I worked full-time, put myself through college, became a teacher, got married, became a mother, and started a business—achieving goals that once felt completely out of reach.

Eventually, I realized that everything I went through was leading me exactly where I was meant to be. While I never had the opportunity to play sports myself, the lessons I learned through my hardships are the exact same ones we teach on the field: resilience, discipline, and the power of a positive circle.

While I loved being a teacher, I eventually realized it wasn’t my ultimate passion. Hegemony Sports is. There are days when the workload is heavy, the hours are long, and I feel completely exhausted. But the moment I see the kids' smiling faces and the excitement of their parents, all of that exhaustion goes out the window. I am all in.



At Hegemony Sports, we aren't just playing a game—we are building the lives we once only imagined. I want to use my experiences to ensure that the next generation doesn't have to walk a hard road alone. This league has been the most life-changing experience for my family and me, and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single family who supports us.
